The Smooshlets, Daisy and Luna, have been with me for over a week now and I noticed yesterday that Luna has a little scab behind her ear.

Today, my partner noticed that Daisy has some hair clumped together under her eye. Initially, I thought it might be some dried eye wash, but a closer showed some dry skin and a scab on one ear, as well as some scaly/flaky skin above her eye. I alao spotted some brown specks in her hair, so it appears she may have lice too.

I'm going to arrange a vet visit, but if it is fungal, is there anything in particular to be aware of? Can people catch it too? Sam and Jynx look unaffected, but should they be treated as well?

Thanks in advance!

If it is ringworm then yes people and other pets can catch it. If Sam and Jynx have been with/near them or potentially near any spores then let your vet know. Breaking the cycle by treating all animals in contact is important as ringworm spores can live in the environment for a couple of years and treating all in contact animals within 10-14 days of the outbreak can stop them from getting it also and subsequently spreading it further
