Well, I currently have Sandy in a quarantine cage and he is really starting to come out of his shell after a week of settling in, he has started to popcorn like mad! The only problem is he seems to have no spatial awareness whatsoever and keeps launching himself into the side of the cage mallethead

I feel bad as I don't really want him to come out for any floor time until the wound on his face is healed but is this normal? Sometimes he sits there looksing dazed for a few moments afterwards rolleyes

i know my baby pig do alot of popcorning everyday and she has bumped into things but she still carry on like normal sorry this isnt much help.

Perhaps you can put a towel over his cage, so he can get more of a feeling where the boundaries are? I have had a couple of my piggies dash into grids until they wisened up.

Had my first popcorn experience today. I had been out to uncover the hutch and gave them some breakfast. The all had a much and then one started to do this strange running around jumpy movement, within a few minutes all 3 of them were doing it! We stood and watched them all do it for the next 10 minutes or so.

It is great fun to watch them.xx>>>

my little oliver has decide when its clean out time to popcorn in the pet carrier i now have to stand there holding the handle while he goes off on one :)p
which really annoys the others as their waiting for their hay after clean out
