can guinea pigs eat popcorn? i’m just wondering not that i’d feed it to my pigs or anything but it’s just corn. it would have to be unsalted and unsweetened of course

No, this is a definite no. Choking hazard not to mention could break teeth you ever had a hard corn kernel.

Please never contemplate feeding popcorn anyone reading this....

Guinea pigs vegetables and hay. They love this

Nothing like popcorn please

You can however feed fresh corn as an occasional treat.
From time to time I give mine a small corn cob to share between the 4 of them.
Babycorn is ok too, again feed sparingly

I give mine fresh corn, cut it in half and give half to Finn and half to Lara.
I don’t give mine cooked food.

Mine like raw babycorn, but they only get a very small amount, like less than half a babycorn each, once a week! Definitely no dried or cooked veg for piggies x

I hold the corn with both of my hands and break it in half. I never tried cutting it with a knife before.
Lara eats it quickly, it is one of her favorite. Finn takes longer and will work on eating it throughout the day.
They don’t live in the same cage so what they eat can be measured pretty accurately.
