Hi,
Lately I’ve noticed that Cocoa’s poops are larger than usual. I noticed this happening once I got a new bag of hay last week so I’m wondering if that has anything to do with it? Cocoa is still acting completely normal, so should I be concerned?

Are they significantly larger? Has the consistency changed or still the same as before? And is her weight still stable/okay for her? It is likely normal. However, we always advise you see a vet if you are worried about anything.

Hi

How old is Cacoa and what gender?

As long as your piggy is healthy in themselves, then it is nothing to worry about. In boars between 4-6 months of age, the testicles descend into the anal sac and stretch it considerably, which means that baby boars start forming the much larger and longer adult boar poos. Neutered boar have smaller and short poos because their anal sac ctracts again in the absence of testicles.
Poos also get generally larger as babies grow into adults.

Pain (especially in the lower body) can often result in smaller poos, as poos form in the very part of the gut, just before the exit.

Cocoa is a 4 year old female piggy. She’s still eating/drinking normally and she’s active as usual. Thanks for the advice :)

Thank you.

In this case, you might have her checked for ovarian cysts if the larger poos persist. She is the right age and gender for them. They can impact on the gut in various ways, depending on the their location and what they push on.
