Poop soup

Hi everyone

I am in need of some poop soup but the guinea pig other I have is currently on cisapride and metoclopramide and loxicom But her poos look healthy would it be okay to use them for my guinea pig? Many thanks

What are both piggies being treated for? Those are gut medications.

I know they are Binky is being treated for gassy tummy Casper has had some imperfect poos so as well as giving probiotic i thought some poop soup would be good for him

Not where you could risk transmitting a bug if you are unlucky. Please stick to probiotic powder.

All the best! Your second piggy sounds very minor; so just taking him off fresh veg for a day or two will hopefully enough.

He does normal poos but he’s eating lots of them and some of them are a bit off he’s done lots more today.

Binky has done lots of poos but her tummy is still distended and every time we’ve weaned her off meds she has relapsed we believe it’s a reaction to sulfatrim which is horribly ironic as the uti bacteria in her culture test was unaffected by sulfatrim.
