Hi all,
Can I get some opinions on these poops. One or two look a bit pointy at the end and I don't know how concerned I should be. I'm a little bit paranoid right now as I lost one of my boys just over a week ago after a battle with anorexia and gut stasis, and we still don't really know what caused it. I can't help feeling that he might have had a better outcome if I had noticed the changes in his eating/pooping earlier, so now I am on high alert with my remaining boy. He has just lost his buddy (although they were just neighbours, not cage mates, as they were a failed bond), so he could be a bit stressed, but he is eating and drinking normally, is bright and demanding food, and is a good weight. Am I being paranoid, or is there cause for concern?

Thanks!

Have these poops changed from before he lost his buddy? They look pretty healthy and solid as poops go.

I'll be honest and say I can't be sure. I haven't noticed the pointy bits before, but then I have not been paying quite so much attention before this. The size and quantity seems the same at least.

Thanks. I've already started him on probiotic just to ease my mind, so I'll maybe reduce his veggies for 24/48 hours and then see how we go.
