Thistle is 4 months old this week and I think she is just coming into season - first time that I have noticed anyway. Africa is the eldest at 5 and a half months and I have noticed it quite a few times. Maya and Willow are only 3 months old and not showing any signs yet.

Anyway Thistle seems to have serious PMT and is grumbling and scenting her way around the cages (Africa does the same when she is hormonal). It seems to be upsetting the balance as she is getting up close and grumpy with everybody.

Will it get easier? Will it break any bonding that has been achieved? They have all been living together for 7 weeks and things seem to be ok - they will all eat from the hay tray together and are happy sharing food bowls etc but the thought of constant PMT in the piggie house is not a good thought. Willow's ear has the tiniest nip mark on it but nothing serious. Thistle is much more highly strung than the others. I think it is because she is an Aby cross and the others are all rexes so by their very nature are much more laid back.

Any advice on what to expect, and just general reassurance would be great :)
