Are mosquito plug ins safe for pigs? If not, are there any mosquito repellents that are?

It is really not a good idea to use any form of plug ins around guinea pigs as they have very sensitive respiratory systems.
A better approach would be screens on the windows to prevent the mosquitoes getting in in the first place.

Oh that’s annoying, the landlord’s not keen for screens to be put in place. On a side note, are smelly candles okay? I’ve just moved and can’t find the source of a smell, so I’m hoping to try and drown it out.

Anything scented is a no go I’m afraid. The same reason mentioned above.
