I was just wondering what thickness plexiglass people use?

I’m looking at buying some as i’d really like to change my cage around again, one piece is going to be about 105cm long and the other only 70cm, so i don’t know wether that makes a difference to how thick it needs to be?

Thanks :)

It will depend on how you attach it. Mine is drilled and attached to wood frame only on the bottom. It's 8' long and 6" high, and 1/4" thick. Thinner piece would be too wobbly for me.

Do you have a picky at all ? I will be changing my c and c to this and want to know how to attatch it all together - I have 32 squares and need a long piece or 2 to get it sorted.-I need ideas!

Mine is not a C&C. I built the whole thing from wood. The plexiglass on the top is 8' x 9". The one on the bottom is 8' x 6".

Some ideas how to attach plexiglass to C&C cage.

Wow! - The more I log on to this forum - the more I learn. I currently have tatty bits of plastic sheeting pegged onto the grids to act as splash guards. Your cage is fantastic and the links are good too. Thanks for the ideas.

Oooo I've never heard of plexiglass before. Would it be ok outdoors?

I’m just going to be cable tying it to my existing C&C grids, i’ve been looking at either 3 or 4mm thickness so far.
