Most of you are probably aware that some member's have decided to set up their own guinea pig forum - I wish them luck with this.

I just want to make let you all know that it is not true what the admins of the new forum are telling people. People will NOT be banned on this forum for joining other forums. Also a lot of slanderous comments have been made about this forum recently. If anybody hears anything which think think is damaging to our community's reputation, please do not hesitate to contact me or one of the mods about this.

Also I would like to add that the forums which the other members made is not replacing this forum or is an "extension" to our forum (In other words, it is not linked to this forum)

Yes,congrats Ellie on the mature and sensible way you have handled this distressing and difficult situation.
I am in my "senior" years and one thing I have learn t from life is that the best way to handle people who try to hurt you is to ignore them,or to do as you have done,and wish them well,then carry on as usual.

This is a very well laid out and well maintained forum which is user friendly to old and young alike. The forum should not,and must not,be spoilt because of a few silly immature attention seekers.

I would also like to congratualte you on your recent exam.success.

Mary, you are completely right. As another older member, I am very impressed by the mature way this forum has been set up and maintained. Just carry on, Ellie, and put this unpleasant situation behind you.

Very well done with your exams, Ellie, and lots of luck with your new course. You'll make a super teacher.
