hi, I have 2 piggys in a cage in my room and my brother is thinking about getting one piggy to keep in his bedroom. Do you think this is okay or shall I persuade him to get 2? Also when he gets Guinea pigs would they be able to have floor time together? Thanks X

guinea pigs must have a friend.. having one on its own really isn't fair.. even if it was seeing the others every day for floor time it would really need a cage mate.
yes as long as they are ALL the same gender they can have floor time together.

Hi - piggies should always be kept in pairs if possible ad they are sociable creatures.

Although in theory they could all have floor time together if the same sex this could lead to fights over dominance each time they are put back together after separation so I would not recommend it.
