Hi everyone, today is Easter so the vet is closed but i just saw this scab on my pigs mouth. When i touch it, it doesn’t come off. I thought maybe it was a piece of fruit but no one fed them any fruit. It’s possible he was fighting with his cage mate who is in a separate cage, but can still touch each other through the bars. Maybe my other pig bit him? I checked my other one and he doesn’t appear to have any marks so I’m concerned what could’ve caused this to happen. Maybe he poked himself with hay? Idk please leave your insight below. Thanks so much.

To me the picture isn’t clear enough to see.
Scabs on the mouth could be a poke, perhaps (as you say) a nip from his neighbour. The other possibility is cheilitis but as I say, to me it doesn’t look clear enough to be able to tell much
