This is from another forum (not me), thank you for any help.

Laura , my neices piggie has had some sort of stroke or fit . She srarted to behave very strangly . her body twisted to one side and her eyes were flickering .

has anyone heard of anything like this before .

poor girlie gave Tracey and her daughter such a fright .

She seems much better now although not 100% right . but she is eating if still a bit unsteady .

Could be mites/lice. Jin was like this when he had mites bad after his operation. Scared the poo out of me.

Was a terrible bite/itch that took him over.

All the better for getting it checked out anyway. :)

i thought my guinea jack had a stroke(he had all the same symptoms) once and i had heard just to place his cage in a warm place and to cover his cage with a blanket,to just block out some light and give some time to relax, after a few hours of jack was back to his usual self and he hasnt had anything happen to him since then (well apart from the previous problem mentioned)
thats just my experience though, hope that helps too,i know how absolutely worrying it can be to see them in distress
