This is Snow, my little female piggie. I'm having a hard time telling the difference between if she is just very comfortable and relaxed or she is in much pain. She is eating and drinking okay. It's been pretty warm here so maybe she is just hot? Please someone answer. She jays there, feet out nice and comfortably, her ears twitch and she kind of closes her eyes. But when something drastic happens like I make a really loud bang or something she isn't comfortable with she shoots up and looks fine. She is itching so I'm going to apply some medicine. Thank you.

Your girl is not in pain. No guinea pig like sudden noises.

Can you please tell us what you are treating and what kind of product you are treating with? Low dosed broad spectrum shop products can cause more harm than good if used on spec, as they do not cure any acute outbreak. You have to also be aware that there are very different issues that can cause itching, and not all are caused by skin parasites.

Yeah sorry I wasn't very specific, I have medicine which I have to apply on her coat from the vets. It's in a little tube, and thank you so much for the replies, I feel so relived!

What is the name of the product? It sounds like a spot-on ivermectin product that is used for mites (xeno?). Good that you have seen a vet; it means that you have got a good quality product to treat with.
