Please help, flea’s ? 😬

I did a full hutch clean this morning of my piggies. (They are outdoor pigs). Once I had cleaned and swept the run part of the hutch and started adding a small amount of wood shavings to the corners where they pee I noticed something small and black jumping around on the floor of the hutch. It looked like a flea but maybe a bit bigger. Is there anything other than a flea this could be? Could it have been in the wood chippings. I re swept and emptied the run but I’m really worried now and not sure what to do. Advice welcome

It’s likely just bugs from the bedding. Guinea pigs don’t have a species specific flea so even if that is what they were, they wouldn’t stay on piggies.

Give the cage a good clean and add fresh bedding.

Thank you! I was having a bit of a panic there. Given them a good clean out and will keep a close eye on it.
