Re: Does this sound odd to you?

Zip it do not get involved, trust me if you go in and say something and she starts off on your OH then it will just cause friction between you and your OH, i have had this problem with my OH's mum, I don't talk to her any more i do not visit her, and when my OH visits her friction is shocking between us,

stay happy and keep your mouth well zipped, just support your OH,

Re: Does this sound odd to you?

my oh's mum only ever sends him a card, he never gets anything not even a few quid, my mum gave him £25 for his birthday last week. makes me mad. guess what we have given her jack sh-t these last few years too, serves her right, and she moans her butt off about it. agggghhhhhh mother in laws.
when my mother in law has come to stay (rarely thank god) twice now, she has made herself a cuppa, sat down and said to me "you didn't want one did you Paula"? BITCH

Re: Does this sound odd to you?

That's lousy eh, some families are just not close like obviously your family are, so sad :(
Darling he has you and your family you're just going to have to bite your lip (and it may bleed a bit) and be there for him, it could get real nasty if you say something it might come back and bite you if you know what i mean >:( You might have to make an effort and go out one time just to show support for your OH, it may just make the 'witch' realise that you're a lovely person who loves her son. (OMG if i'm like that when my boys have a relationship i give you all permission to come and shoot me! unless there's a really really good reason otherwise parents just need to butt out)

Well you can tell him that all us girls wish him a VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:
