I've given up with the ramp in the boys cage they just wont use it so I've taken it out, which has freed up space, now I'm looking to buy two hidey s for my 120 liberta cage. I'm looking on-line so many different sizes to choose from.

Did you try covering the ramp with something grippy? My boys wouldn't go up their ramp until I covered it with an old thermal sock! :)

I'd be tempted to leave the platform in as a hidey, with or without the ramp. I've tried pigloos and things but now have their new beds underneath the platform which makes it feel like a den to them but means I can see them better. (You can see the setup in my thread "whee love our new beds")

Yes they just didn't bother with it at all. They seem a lot happier with out it thanks to the space, but I only have 1 tunnel hence why I'm now on-line looking to buy something. I see your just up the road from me :)

pawsup do gorgeous fleece items :-) I have some and my boys love them

or there are basic plastic ones available in pet shops and ebay :-)

I bought a cosie cup from Pawsups the other week but had to throw it away as they chewed it so much, which is a shame as it was so pretty :(

Am I best going for a hidey with or without a floor?

Id say without. then the wee goes straight into your bedding/ towels.

I have one with a bottom and the poop and wee just stays in there and the pigs dig any bedding out of it so they end up seeing in their poo!

Bekki, Is that a cat bowl you have in the cage, a double one. I need something similar for my 7 girls as they mussle one another out of the way to get in the ceramic bowls?

Yep its a cat bowl from Tesco, my boys tip smaller bowls over they don't manage to tip this!

That looks cute! They can sit on the roof too! :) I got this last week that they love:

I use it as an entrance to their pile of hay and they sit under it munching away. Yes I'm just down the road we're practically neighbours! :)) - will be visiting Mac to go to the fent shop next week! Just out of interest which vets do you use? I'm still looking for a cavy savvy one nearby.

Oh brill thanks I'll look into that one. I asked about vets near Buxton when I joined the forum and someone said the Potteries Guinea pig Rescue use these vets in Congleton, which is really close to you too. http://www.charter-vets.co.uk/home.html

I took my pigs to Ellie, a guinea pig specialist vet at Alfreton Park vets when they needed to go a few weeks ago... it's about an hour away from me but she was really good - would like to find a closer one though!

The log bridge things are really good... they come flat and have metal running through so you can bend it into shape how you want.

Let us know what your piggies think of their new hideys when you've chosen one! I love seeing piggies with new toys x)

Thanks for that I shall keep their detail too. Yes I shall post photos tomorrow of my anti-social little monkeys with their new furnishings x
