my girls fell out after the two mums delivered..... today i decided to see if they would tolerate each other in thier play area, so i put a blanket down that both teams of girls are not used to and popped them all in, there were handbags and a few snorts and chattering and a couple of scuffles but they settled and all seem ok now, my question is....... will they have to go thru the handbags phase EVERY time they play together or will they remember who is who next time (they have play time every day for ages

my boys go through it every time, but it happens for less time each time, so I'm wondering if it will eventually stop

first time all 3 met it took about an hour, yesterday after about 5-10 mins they were following each other round doing piggy trains ::)

depends on personality too, as my munchie is still having a few issues cos he isnt used to sharing bob ;D

but then again i have boars who are more tempremental when being introduced so might not be the same for your girlies

i would say as they get use to each other they will get use to each other more. you have my mind boggling what is a handbag when referring to guinea pigs? as time goes by and they get use to eachother hopefullly when you put the girls together they won't even care unless it comes to the point when one tries to be the dominat one. hoping things work out with your girls and their play time. hugs and cuddles to you and your girls. :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:
