Hi guys!
I have build a playpen for my three boys and I have towels down as a floor. Unfortunately it means washing it each time I clean the pen and hay isn't exactly good for my washing machine! Has anyone got any ideas on what is the best and economical solution for playpen floor?

Thanks

Hi, is this permanently in place or just comes out at playtime?

No sugestions for the floor, but has your washing macine got an xternal filter?
I just clean the filter befour each wash

That combined with a slicker brush to remove the acsess debris prior to the wash folowed
By hosing down my vetbeds/fleese , means minamal pig poops and hay in the washing machine

Puppy pads so you can just put them in the bin?

I use a laundry bag in my washer, so any stray bits of hay and hair stay in there. I shake it out after each wash.

I use a piece of thick wipe clean table cloth - is it called oil cloth? Then put newspaper and hay on top of that in play pen. newspaper can just go in compost / recycling bin and then F10 spray the table cloth floor and leave to dry before fresh newspaper - quick and cheap to maintain - just the cost of the cloth to begin with.

Hmm I might do this. I got play pen for the piggies to have a few hours out and about each day. Oil cloths sounds perfect for the flooring of it. I have been using fleece but it's extra washing.

It's a permanent pen for winter. Thanks for the replies. Both puppy pads and tablecloth and very good ideas! Thank you again!
