Hi, I'm trying to figure out what base/bedding to use for my playpen. I've seen the fleece with an absorbent layer underneath but I'm trying to avoid using fabric. Although, I did come up with using fairly soft towels. Would this be soft enough for the piggies feet? Would their toenails get caught? Though, I would assume that the way towels are looped is similar to carpet (But of course the texture and material isn't the same). Anyway, after floor time each day, I'd spray and scrub the pee spots with a stain remover made for pets. It says it's safe for animals, but would that include guinea pigs? And then only when needed, I would wash the towels. How does this sound to you guys? Just don't want to do anything that would harm or hurt my pigs
