'play' Pen!

image.webp image.webp First of all - I apologise for the amount of questions I've been posting but I'm a bit inexperienced with the Guinea pigs!

I've made this small area for the pigs so they can get a bit more excercise for I can't put them outside much and when I do it's a rather small area. I'm wanting to put some more stuff in it as for a play pen - it's a bit boring!

The same goes for their cages (pictures attached - the other one is the same just a bit smaller.)

So suggestions for toys, hideys etc please? Thank you

P.S please excuse the mess! I haven't cleaned them out yet today
 
Cardboard boxes with holes cut in them like little houses. Toilet roll tubes cut lengthways filled with hay. Tunnels made from boxes. Piece of Paper screwed up into a ball (my peanut loves this.) toys don't have to be expensive.
 
I would cover the cage door with something (folded blanket or some cardboard etc) if you're going to let them use it as a ramp. As they could get their leg caught.
 
I buy mine on eBay and cut off the handles.Can't remember how much I pay but they're worth it.

I've just been looking at them, you can get a lot for not much I've got some in my basket ready to order once I've been paid, I might out it in their hutch aswell as in their run, I'm scared the hutch will get too crowded soon with all the toys I'm getting
 
If you rotate them they will get more out of them.I rotate mine round three cages.Remember to cut off the handles if the bags.I stuff mine with hay, pellets and veggies.
 
Thanks everyone! The Play pen is looking a little more fun!

I'm hoping to get some fleece from Ziggys Piggies when I get paid - do you have any suggestion on what objects to get? (Tunnels, snuggle sacs etc.)
