Hi, my pigs used to live in a hutch outdoors but now that it's winter they've been moved indoors. In a large rabbit cage. They have an igloo, they did have a wicker house as well but it's gotten so dirty i've binned it - i've ordered another house for them as sometimes one of them is sitting outside it and want's to go in but the other is blocking the door. They've got a little wooden bridge and some chew toys. What else can I put in here? I like the idea of a platform to give them more floor areas to go about on and they seem to like sitting on top of their house somtimes too. Does anyone know where I'd get a platform from or just any more ideas please?

I am lucky that my husband is making my wooden platforms and mezzanine floors, but you could think about cable tying in a barbecue rack of a suitable size or have a piece of wood cut to size, so it slots in between the bars. Some DIY shops will cut it to size for you. You may want to cut angles into the corners, so the piece of wood doesn't slide out.

I use tea bag boxes for my boys as houses as one of them is always shut out of the "official" supapet igloo, they are cheap and can be thrown away when they get wee-d on ;) The other thing my boys like is loo rolls stuffed with hay and willow/apple twig toys. I'm lucky in that we have a large apple tree and a willow near my horse's field but you can also buy them from wilkinsons if you dont have any trees near by.
