My local cost.co sell cubes as a shoe rack but they are not mesh, they have a metal outer square with plastic middle. They are about £15 and it makes about 20 cubes or something.

Would they be ok for piggies? I'm not sure if the plastic would be a problem, would they chew through them? I think ive seen them used to make a cage before but I'm a bit unsure, They are solid blue in colour too.

Any suggestions :-\

Hi Pimm,

I have these two. My personal opinion is that they are not that suitable if you are leaving your pigs in a shed, they can chew their way out, my boys did! If it is for indoors and are supervised then they are fine. They are smaller than the screwfix ones though and you won't get a 4x2 out of them I got a 3.5 x 2.5 for my 2 boys and the same for my girls.

I would pay that extra for the others. My blue ones are fine for a play pen which is what I use them for now. :)
