A lot of people seem to use newspaper under or as bedding in their rabbit/guinea pig inclosures or for in their litter trays. People also use a lot of plastic stuff like pigloo's, litter trays, plastic toys, storage boxes(for rabbits) stools etc and I'm wondering if it's okay if guinea pigs/rabbits to have a nibble on any of these items or the like? Just wondering as I have just got my first ever guinea pigs and after seeing them chew the newspaper I'm worried they'll start on the litter tray and pigloo next? Is this a problem?

Most things get chewed a little, long as they're not digesting big strips of it I'd say this is fine. Mine chew their hidey & correx a little...

I feel the same as you which is why I will only have wooden toys in my piggy cage. I do not like the thought of them chewing plastic.
