pixal pulling at his claws?

pixal hates being picked up and when i do have to pick him up he bites and pulls on his front claws it really freaks me out does anyone elses pigs do that? how can i stop him doing it?

Spike does that too. I think it's just frustration, he usually does it when I'm trying to cut his nails and he's had enough.
I think Pixal's just trying to tell you he's too busy to be cuddled, too much to do to sit still!

Your lucky, if i pick spice up and hes unhappy with it (which is unusual) he nips at my chest! Leaves a bruise sometimes.

But as long as hes not doing himself any harm, i wouldnt worry. You could always try making being picked up less stressfull by using something like a cuddle sack to user him into and carry him to lap time that way

Both of mine do that. They mostly do it when you trim their nails or pick up their feet.

My Poppy (RIP) used to always bite her front paws when I picked her up, it was actually quite sweet I thought, & part of her character! Absolutely nothing to worry about, it's a piggy quirk lol rolleyes
