I would also say no to pine cones for guinea pigs.
I do give them to my rabbits to play with, but never the piggies.

So sad I have to remove them, they actually played with them. But if pinecones are not suitable for piggies I don’t want mine near them

Hmmm, I have always brought those exact same kind of pinecone chews, same brand and all for Alfie. I currently have one in the cage now, he loves to chew on them and toss them on the ground, I have never had problems with these pinecone chews. Archie seems to like the pinecone chew too, I have seen him chewing at it. I will have a look at the link, I just dont get how they are dangerous. By the way sorry if I am a few months late.

Apparently you have to cook them first. I just wouldnt bother. Just stuff a toilet roll tube with hay and hang it from the cage. My pigs love this. Once though my old boar thought it was a bird i think, he got all of his tunnels and hideys and honestly, he built a wall to protect himself

All living things brand from petsmart is awful! I bought some toys there and every toy was loaded with unsafe dye or was full of visible glue.

Wow, never knew that. Might have to be aware of that when i buy toys for the piggies at petsmart.
