Pineapple Leaves/Rinds

Bought a fresh pineapple, just wondering if the leaves and/or rind were OK for the piglets?

I already know too much pineapple causes mouth sores.

Not sure about leaves but the ring is not something I would feed its quite prickly isn't it? Mine don't like pineapple though! |)

I've never tried pineapple with mine (bought it for myself :p ), only two of them will touch fruit, period, though. rolleyes

yeah ive never tired it either,all i know is i have to give them the best part of the veges/fruit if i dont they stick there little piggy noses up and won't eat xx

You gotta love 'them though! They do know what they like rolleyes . Mine are usually good about anything I give them...I give it to them at night and by morning there is not a scrap of food in the cage.

Mine won't touch the fruit but love the leaves. They're perfectly fine eating them.

mine appear to eat anything - offcuts and all. havent tried them with pineapple though.
that said - they wont eat celery!

I just wanted to know if leaves are edible too so thanks for saying.

I bought my first fresh pineapple yesterday and they don't want anything to do with it.

Looks like I'll be eating it by myself but I'll try them on the leaves if they're fine to eat too.
