Hi,
I changed over to fleece this week from woodshavings. My cage is now 3/4 fleece and 1/4 woodshavings with their hay boxes on. My girls seemed happy with the change on the first night and slept under their igloos on the fleece. However when I got up the next morning the fleece was a little damp as they had weed on it so much I changed the fleece and put new puppy pads underneath but now they are not spending any time on the fleece at all and only sit/sleep in their hay boxes what can I do as most of their cage isn't being used.
I have been putting bits of veg like lettuce and spinach in their igloos to try and get them to go inside, which they do and will happily sit and eat, but then go straight back to the hay. Has anyone else had this problem? What did you do?
