I figured that it might sustain some damage, Honey is a chewer for sure. I will have to look into another one after they either outgrow or destroy this one. Hopefully your pig recovered okay! She had somewhere nice and cozy to recoup.Mine love their one of these (they have the red one, I think it’s a size bigger) when B had her operations it was her chosen recuperation location. It does sustain a fair amount of damage though as they chew the ridges from the outside and the inside!
After she favoured the tunnel at the first op, I made sure it was in the cage and in the same place after the second. She recovered really well after both, thank you :-)I figured that it might sustain some damage, Honey is a chewer for sure. She's too stinking cute! Glad to hear both operations went well! We have the same bowl too. After she favoured the tunnel at the first op, I made sure it was in the cage and in the same place after the second. She recovered really well after both, thank you :-)
I put their bedding inside it too, so they’re not walking on plastic and it soaks up the pee so I can just shake it all out on cleaning out day.
This is her resting after the first one
