Hi, all! I haven't posted in nearly a year and missed the forum.
I am currently in need of a bit of piggy advice. In August, I noticed abnormal breathing in my piggy, Vani. We took her to the vet, where they prescribed meloxicam. Her wheezing went down while on the medication. A few days after going off the medication, her wheezing began again (this time with sneezing, as well). We took her back to the vet, and they gave her a (CT scan?) and diagnosed her with mild pneumonia. They prescribed meloxicam and TMP/SMZ for two weeks. Her wheezing went down during this time but didn't go away. They then prescribed her meloxicam for another two weeks, and the wheezing still didn't go away. We then took her to a different vet for a second opinion. They prescribed Baytril and Bene-Bac, which she has been on for almost two weeks. I am lost and worried at the moment, as her wheezing hasn't gotten any better since August.
Any advice is much appreciated!
