piggy warmth winter months

would this be a good cheap idea to retain heat in the winter for our piggys ?
that celular blanket stapled to the walls cealing sides ? not sure about inside on floor or underneath out side ? oh and inside the roof i have a feeling my piggys are going to get cold this winter as where our house is the frost / snow etc stays all day and if it frosts snows again it can last a week or more ! thinking early so we done get cought out :)
 
Have you got a shed or garage you could keep them in over winter? I wouldn't want my pigs out all winter especially if it is as cold and snowy as last year.
 
i know about the huggers I'm looking at buying one but i was thinking of adding a little Extra warmth and cheaply i figured if they keep us warm out in the elements then it would do the same for my piggys

i see your point, but we come inside into a warm house at night dont we? it would be very hard for us to be out all winter! when i was little i remember we always lost guinea pigs in the winter, they were outside, i still feel bad about that, even though iwas only a child, one of the reasons my 5 are all indoors, i understand some people do still keep them out over winter, but if at all possible try to get them in to shelter of some kind .
