Hi everyone I just want to ask your advice. I'm getting my new piggy shed delivered in a few weeks and i'm soooooo excited :(|) I just don't have a clue what to put on the floor! They will be free roaming inside the shed so I need it to be sutiable for them to walk on. I was thinking, fleece, wood, lino. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated, Thank you: :)

PS if you have any tips for heating or anything please let me know. x)

Ooo that sounds...FABULOUS! will you be posting pigtures? :)) I like the layered idea for your flooring sounds like it'd keep the piggies warm and be easy to clean, I'm also thinking of purchasing a piggie shed...can i be a bit cheeky and ask where you got your from? I'm trying to find the best deal and shed to suit me thankies :))

If you can, I'd put some fleece down on part of it so they can snuggle, but as long as you can easily remove it and it can be easily washed. The lino sounds good as it can be easily cleaned. I put my pigs in a stable to run around in when it's raining and that's covered with the typical rubber flooring you find in most horse stables. It can be easily cleaned and any mess can be swept up quickly. It's also quite absorbent and so doesn't smell when they urinate. Hope that helps and good luck with it. Your pigs will love it whatever your decision.

I'm getting my shed from gardens and buildings driect.co.uk its going to be 10ft by 6ft and costs £269 . Its got 6 windows so alot of natural light can get in. I will post pictures as soon as its up, I'm so excited. I have so many ideas for the inside I really dont know where to start :(|) .

ooo thank you will take a look, it sound so exciting! I've been ordering shelves for my shed hehe! Interior decorating woo cant wait to see pics:))

My piggie shed has a tarpualin stapled to the floor and is then covered with wood shavings (I know a lot of people don't like shavings but my piggies have always been on them). They have their hutch in there which stays open so they can jump in and out and hide under. No heating, just huge amounts of straw and hay to snuggle into and eat :))

Thank you for showing me your pictures, I like all the things your piggys have to play in, I cant wait to get mine, seeing yours has made me even more excited :(|) I was thinking of heating the shed over the cold months, I'm not sure yet. Ive been looking at shelves in argos, they do a 4 plastic shelving unit for just under £20, I'm going to get one to put my piggy food and piggy things on :)) Oh cant wait to show you all pictures :(|)
