Johnson's baby shampoo is formulated for human babies, not piggies. I've seen some piggies with horribly dried out skin from owners using it on them.

I would never put Johnsons baby on my children let alone a piggie. Its well known for drying out the skin I have lost count of the number of babies coming out in excema because of Johnsons baby products.

I love the GG shampoos, they smell fabulous and I've been tempted to use them on my own hair before now!

I wouldn't use anything else on my guinea pigs now other than GG products. I have found the posh n go for longhaired pigs excellent.

Oh. someone said johnsons was fine as its very gentle. Yes it is for humans but because its so gentle i wouldnt have thought it would have hurt to use it on guinea pigs.
