Hello can anyone shed any light on my situation my guinea pig for past few weeks has been losing a lot of weight, despite constant feeding, he always seems hungry, has an insatiable apetite but is not gaining much back! Would apreciate any thoughts you may have! Thanks

Has he been seen by a vet for a diagnosis of any illness?
How old is your piggy?
Are you syringe feeding him?

Piggies will lose weight when their hay intake drops. If their hay intake drops you must step in with syringe feeding. At that point, your goal is to stop weight loss with the syringe feeding to stop deterioration in their condition and while they recover from the illness, rather than gain weight back. Regaining lost weight following an illness can take quite some time.
