Hi - I have to Boar Brothers who are nearly 1 year old (in august). They are inside piggies called ringo and squeak and behave well and I usually just hear normal rumblings and wheaks from them every now and again. Last night, Ringo was making a loud short burst squeak that sounded a bit liek a bird tweeting but really loudly. I picked him up and he seemed fine. Squeak was just sat minding his own business whilst this was happening. Iv never heard either of them do this before and was quite worried. After checking him over Ringo seems fine and again this morning was happy. Has anyone ever experienced this before? Should I be worried?
I know when they have fought in the past (if they were being rough and hurting each other! :( they let out loud wheaks as apposed to what I was hearing last night.
Any advice would be much appreciated. :{
Thanks
Sara

Nobody knows why some piggies chirp. Fell blessed - not many people get to hear it! It is as amazing a sound as it is baffling, isn't it? Usually the other piggies ignore it or sit stock still and listen.

Here are two more examples of chirping (the last two sound bites):
