hi guys! my piggies home base is at my moms house, but i've been working on trying to convert them to fully at my dads. I have 2 little brothers whose rooms are right across from mine about 3 feet of hallway distance and i get a lot of anxiety when the piggies make even a slightly noise sound at night (small play fighting, chewing on their water, clinking the food bowl etc.) even though I'm almost positive they can't hear it, still makes me very anxious and i was wondering if there's any way you guys have found to settle your piggies at night. I'm setting up the bigger cages tomorrow so if they nip at eachither at night i could always separate them for their sleeping time but they individually also make a lot of noise. so any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated :)

My piggies live outside so their noises dont affect us but I would say that you cannot really do anything about this - given they are always active and only sleep for short periods throughout the day and night, indoor piggies are going to be heard at some point as they go about their business during the night.
Have you asked your siblings if they can hear the piggies at night and whether its bothering them?

An important point is that you must not separate bonded piggies. If they are happy together and have a good relationship, then you must leave them together all the time. Temporary and repeated separations will cause them stress and could potentially mean it harms their bond and then at some point they refuse to go back into the same cage together.
Plus, if you were to separate them from their friend, they are possibly going to make even more noise trying to get back together.

Hi! If your piggies are keeping you up at night, you could get a white noise machine and run it in your room or out in the hallway. I use a white noise machine for my three children so loud thunderstorms or the neighbors having a late party don't disturb their sleep.

Best of luck with moving your piggies!

I used to have my pigs in my room but theyve since moved into the shed. (They're currently camping out in my room though as it's too hot in the shed.)

Pigs will make noise regardless. At one point I'd turn over in bed in the middle of the night and theyd all start wheeking.

The only complaint was when they popcorned at night, sounded like a herd of elephants lol

Ask them if it bothers them.
