So I finally got a friend for my piggie, Punky.
I got year old Rufio from a lovely woman who could no longer care for him, and what a handsome pig indeed.
They're due to be introduced properly in 1 weekish time, and are living as neighbours in their cages. One section of each is closeby so they can get a little look at eachother, and i'd love it if somebody could tell me what their behaviour means? Sort of as a heads up for the introductions?
Both pigs seem very relaxed still, Rufio is getting used to his surroundings. On occasion, when Punky is wheeking, he'll have a little wonder over and speak back, but sometimes just ignores him?
On other occasions, they come close to eachother and have a sniff, still calm, however i've found Rufio gets bored of this, and wonders away, while Punky bites the bars as if to say "Let me come seeee".
Any advice? My opinion is just that hopefully they'll get on, with Rufio being a calm, relaxed pig, and Punky being the active little boy! Haha. Love to hear what you all think. x
