Hi everyone
We have a boar who is nearly 3 years old now
But we think he is lacking the ability to push his poop out ! So we read up upon stuff and started giving him fibre plex which does help him ! But after his dose’s he reverts back to having softish poo and keeps getting slight compaction ?

Now everyday we have to help clean his bum for him as they get stuck ?
He’s un neutered and lives by himself next to his male friend :)

Thanks guys !

Hi and welcome

I am very soory for your ongoing issues.

You can find more impaction care tips in this link here: Impaction - How To Help Your Guinea Pig.

A very regular feeding regime without variation and plenty of hay plus vitamin B complex supplementation can help with easing/temporarily reverting early mild compaction.

If in doubt, please have your boy vet checked.
