Hiya, my guinea pigs do that sometimes. It’s nothing to be concerned about! They just do it to show dominance, as long as they don’t full on attack each other neither of them come to any harm
at first wookie went on top of twinkie and the later on it was vice versea lookin like the start of fight they have also been having little fights the past few days they are not full grown and both sows wich are around teenage years wondering if maybe they are setting there dominance as they haven’t before if that is the case should almost a second bonding be put in place?
They may just be having a strong season. A second bonding wouldn’t do much apart from stress them out, and as long as they’re ‘little fights’ with no biting or anything that brings harm to the other pig, it isn’t much to worry about
okay sounds good they were doing a little bit of nipping but twinkie was really stressed out
not the full on fights just the signs of a start like each of them going on top of each other and just little nips twinkie ended up burrowing where we couldn’t intervene if wookie went under there to so we had to pull them out thansk for the links i’ll give them a read
