We lost Razzle just over a week ago, he was Rosie's special friend.
I had Rosie on her own for about three years, then Razzle came along but he needed to be neutered so they were kept apart, they used to go into a run together separated by mesh so they both could have company. They got on fantastically although I thought it was because he was un-neutered :embarassed:
I had wanted a female friend for Rosie though so one day I came home with Kez : They got along fine no problems although Rosie never seemed very close to her.
After Razz was clear, I put him, Rosie and Kez together there was a bit of rumbling on Razz's part towards Kez but he was soon snuggled up with Rosie.
About a month ago I added Atarangi to the group, I think this was what contributed to Razzle's end :'(
Now Rosie was with Razz during the few short days he was ill and spent his last night indoors with him, she was at the vets when we let him go and I let her see him after he had passed :smitten:
She's back with the two younger girls but its fairly clear she's missing Razzle, she keeps looking for him and is prefering to sit by herself. She's still eating and pottering around as much as a five year old does
She's not very close to the two girls anyway
Would it help her if I got another boy for her or does she just need time to grieve for Razzle?
