Hi piggie peeps,

just wondered what your piggies favourite tickle spots are?

I'm still getting to know my boys. When I stroke Wilburs fur the wrong way up his back he does a deep rumbly purr... at first I thought this meant he hated it but now think it may be a happy noise. If I stroke their heads too much when they're trying to eat they both jerk their heads up in the air which i'm pretty sure means sod off. :))

Just wondered what else to try? Does your piggie prefer strokes or scratches? Have they got a particular spot they love to have tickled?

Ears and behing the ears has always been a hit with all my lot. Always stroke the direction of the hairgrowth, there skin can be very sensitive x

My eldest pig does this alot, shes top pig and whenever I give her head a little tickle when shes eating she nudges my hand off her when shes had enough, same if shes being inquisitive, she nudges me as if to say stop stroking me when i'm trying to look! :)) I always thought she was just a bossy boots!

Two of our girls go mental on certain spots on their backs - they flop onto their sides and start biting the bedding or dishes :{ Must be a real tickle spot :))
All of our lot love chin tickles and their heads stroked :(|)
Bruce, our big cuddly boar quivers when his back is scratched very gently, he loves it x)

Both mine love their tummy gently tickled. They enjoy chin tickles too.
Daisy-Boo doesn't like having her head stroked and will head butt me to say 'Stop it' but Dolly-Pipsqueak loves having her head stroked.
They both really enjoy little strokes and tickles while snuggling up round my neck licking my ears. That's when they talk to me most as well.
I'd say that's their favourite place... :)

Gremlin likes his back, side, and sometimes his chin pet.
Domino will purr loudly when pet from his rump to his neck, loves chin tickles, and will put his head up and reach for "kisses" from my daughter. He licks her chin and makes happy sounds when she nuzzles his nose!

They both will buck up their head if they don't feel like having their nose pet.

Gremlin will sometimes popcorn under my chin when getting snuggled! :(|)

Hmm, well

Chester LOVES his chin being tickled, just give him a rub on his chin and he's all yours haha, he starts sticking his little chin out further and then his little toothy pegs start showing and if you stop he licks your finger like crazy !

Bentley, well he quite like his tickles around his bum, he's started pop corning from being just gently scratched on his back end haha,

Marmite quite likes just a general stroke from head to tail but i do play with his little bit of dude hair on the front because i can't resist, he hates anything near his ears though.

Eddie and Ollie don't really give much of a reaction to any form of stroking or tickling but they just generally like a cuddle i guess and to be able to roam around your body haha.

Woohoo! Had an Oaty Poaty breakthrough thismorning. :(|)

In the last couple of weeks i have tried stroking, tickling, rubbing, prodding and scratching Otis in every possible way I can think of to try and find something that he likes. He seems to hate everything and jerks his head all over to tell me to get lost.

Thismorning i was feeding him some bits of veg at the cage door (he chews the cage bars to tell me to get a move on with the next leaf. Cheeky but very cute. :)) ) I try to give the back of his head a little rub now and then whilst he's distracted with his mouth full as he tolerates this and i want him to get used to the contact. Well i sort of missed and ended up rubbing the side of his face and oh my god wonder of wonders he froze, actually stopped eating and closed his eyes. drool I couldn't believe my eyes. He was actually enjoying it! Now this only lasted a few seconds but its a massive breakthrough with him and gives me fresh hope that he may be a cuddly pig after all. :(|)

Sookie love chin rubs, being rubbed round her ears and even chuckles happily when i lift up her piggy lips to check her teeth. :)) Rio loves getting rubbed around her ears and her cheeks. But Sherbert isn't really one for tickles, she sometimes chuckles happily when i tickle her ribs but hates getting touched on her head or ears.
