Piggy companion

I am looking into getting a companion for my female piggy(2 years old). Does anyone have any advice on what sex/age to get?

It’s character compatibility as much as any other factor that makes for good companionship in piggies.

When I was left with a 3 year old sow who had lost her cage mate I decided to see if I could get 2 baby girls.
I figured that if Merab bonded with them that would be perfect and if she didn’t they could live side by side and the babies would have each other.
That worked well for me.

If you can get to a good rescue they can help with bonding and a rescue is a good place to start.
