Hello all

What pet carriers do you all use for your piggies?

I was in P @ H this morning looking at the pet carriers - the ones for dogs and cats. Would one be big enough for 2 fully grown piggies or do I need two of them?

I don't need one now but I will in the future in case my girls need vet trips. And I have read that both need to go if one needs to be seen.

My girls travel in pairs in opening front cat/dog carriers. As long as they can take the weight (over 5kg) and have ventilation and are easy to access any pet carrier will do.

I do also have top opening carriers such as one of these Savic ones but not all my piggies like going in them.

I use the Catit Cabrio carrier and my three girls go in all together (though they are quite small piggies)

I use the RAC pet carrier from Argos - perfect size for my 3 and you can thread the seat belt through to keep it secure in the car. Think I paid £15 for mine

I've been looking at those for our two as well. Did you get the medium or large one?

I have a top opening carrier for my 4, as I found reaching into a front opening carrier and dragging out a reluctant piggie quite an ordeal (for both me and the pig).
I now have 2 carriers as I don't think I could fit all four into one!
I can't see a reason to have to transport all 4 of them somewhere at one, but if I do have to the last thing I want is to be scrambling around looking for something to put them in.
