been worried about poppet after losing her companion, Mallow. The first day she lost quite a bit of weight and didnt leave her hidey, but shes doing better each day.

I'm working away today, so have the piggy cam set up! It notifies me when theres motion outwith her hidey and then records it, so i know if shes been leaving it for hay etc.

Just checked the cam.. She looks comfy, plenty of poos around her and theres a couple of clips of her up and about eating- so I'm happy!

Its an app called manything. Install it on 2 devices, your mobile and whatever u want to use as the cam i.e a spare phone or tablet. Create an account, log in to said account on both devices. Choose the camera option on the piggy cam device an the viewer option on your mobile that ul be watching them from. Mess about with the settings- u can control it from your mobile when your away from home i.e the minimum time frequency you want it to record a clip regardless of movement, u can turn on the torch on the cam from your mobile if it gets dark and u cant see them, you can scrub out certain areas on the camera frame to only pick up motion in certain areas of the cage, u can adjust how sensitive you want it to be with motion, and u can choose to record motion or constant. Make sure you turn the "use cellular data" option on if you dont have wifi on your mobile when away. You can speak through it too like a baby monitor! Although i havent done that lol.

And its free!

I leave the cam phone charging as it will obv drain the battery. U can set the screen to dim which reduces battery usage. I have cut a hole in the botton of an empty oxbow science supplement bottle, to fit over the round connector of the c&c grids. Ive fitted it onto that and places my phone inside it- keeps it steady!
