I second that, can leave it for 10 days just changing the hay on top.

Yes. The oils in it can burn piggies' feet (there's a reason pine oils are used in toilet cleaners!), severely irritate their skin, harbour fungal spores (that cause nasty skin infections that are hard to shift) and the dust and oils can severely irritate their lungs.

I think the megazorb is quite cheap from there - it costs me about £7.99 in a local garden centre that sells pet supplies. It's an 85 litre bag which is a BIG sack.

I use it in combination with fleece blankets and hay.
 
I got 8 cleaning of cages out of a half a bag ( when halves with a friend) i wouldnt use sawduct again all my older piggies had very sore and red feet with the sawdust. when i read on this forum what the dangers were i stopped

it is worth the cost put a order in with a friend and share the postage costs i do
