Piggy Bed / House

What do pigs like best for sleeping, a bed or a little house with a roof?

At the moment I have a makeshift house from a cardboard box with fleece underneath which my little piggy runs in and out of every time I walk past the cage.

I've been looking around and some owners have little sleeping beds and others houses or sleeve type huts.

Just wondering what's best before I get something to replace the cardboard box.

I use a shoebox with a hole cut in the front. I line it with fleece and towel on the bottom so it doesn't get soggy and I stuff it with hay. They absolutely love it. It's really warm and cosy and they love to burrow in the hay. Some piggies like sleeping in fleece instead, just depends what they prefer. :)
 
mine sleep in wooden houses,plastic igloos,cardboard boxes,fleece igloos,cuddle cups,depends what bedding they are on,disposable bedding i use wooden/plastic houses,if on fleece bedding i use a variety of above.give them a choice,and all my piggies gravitate towards plastic pigloos !:)
 
I seen the plastic igloos on Amazon, I thought they looked strange, why do the piggys like them so much?

Unsure but ours loved them. We now use playsticks from pets at home as they have two entrances and when the girls are in season in stops any chasing and trapping piggies in Wooden Playsticks Large | Pets At Home Can't recommend them enough
 
Mine have a fleece lined cuddle cup underneath the wooden playsticknlogs from pets at home! They also sleep on their fleece tunnels and sleep sacks!
 
Cool thanks, I think I'll get her something with a roof so she can hide away when she wants to
