Alan & Barry lived inside with me for a couple of months and then about 3weeks or so ago they went outside into the shed fully insulated and full of hay and blankies etc.

They have been out in the run all day and as it's so warm here and in the shed I have left their hutch outside tonight. I'm going to be worrying about them all night!

On a separate note does anyone have any ideas of how to lift the hutch higher off the ground. They are currently in this http://www.petsathome.com/shop/guinea-pig-manor-by-pets-at-home-29282 but are out in the run for 10 or so hours during the day if I'm here.

I'd just feel happier if it were higher off the ground.... xx

You could use some bricks to make it higher :)

Yes I did think of bricks of paving slabs. It's just we are doing out garden at the moment and I wanted to try and get something pretty! Hehe!I also worry about it toppling over?

They were in a right snot with me this morning tho; took their veggies out and they turned their noses up at me and also I got kicked...see other post!...but when I looked outfrom the upstairs landing window they one was happily munching on his hay! Little booger!
