How is everyone doing today? :)

Anyway, my three keep moving their hay tray when I'm not there, and then all hay gets on the fleece and is especially really annoying when they wee on it, not sure what to do. I could put a brick in it I suppose, but it'll get in the way. Any suggestions?

I'm not sure if it's big enough? Actually rather small looking at in real life. I'd like to chop the sides of or something to join them together, but I'm not sure if it would crack all over.

My girls are removal experts too. They have cardboard 'houses' in their indoor run and they always move them away from the edge of the run and the hay tray too.

Hello! :D Little monkeys, for some reason piggies enjoy doing their daily rounds of playing 'removal vans' !
You could use a brick like flutter said, but in terms of attaching the litter trays together, I don't think that it would crack, you could just cut a few inches width in the centre of both sides otherwise cutting it all along would probably ruin it. You could attach it with duct tape? I know black or grey would look messy! I wonder if you could get purple.

I understand your frustration. My four girls used to drag around and tip up their hay bins before I tied them down. Now they just pick the hay up and drag it on to the fleece. I give up!

Anyway, as I said, I tied mine down (extreme I know). I drilled some holes in the side big enough to loop some string through then tied it to the walls of my cage. It really worked until the little buggers started picking up the hay and moving it themselves!

What naughty pigs! I'm somewhat sure my three wouldn't go that far, but knowing them, I can't be too sure. I'll think of trying that either way :D

Although, is it possible to get something like a mat that has hay sticking to it instead of going all over the cage?

Don't worry! It's no hassle :)
Everything is made from correx and grids, the kitchen insert is made of correx, and I put fleece over the sides to prevent them nibbling at the correx.

Thank you! It can be a bit annoying poo picking around it, but because I designed the kitchen for hay it's not much of a problem for me :)

I don't use a hay rack ! you don't need one because you put the hay in cage and they will be eat a lot of it so I don't think you need a hay rack ! they are like water bottles which they don't let a enough water out so there for you have to have a water bowl

Unfortunately my boy will make any bit of hay his toilet provided he has at least a tiny pile  Thanks for the suggestion though!

It's a shame I'm not good decorating anything at all. My sister likes that stuff I suppose, but Ginny once bit her finger and she's held a grudge for so long :P

That looks good! Hopefully Humfred will come on soon so I can ask of it works very well :)

Hello! I think the mat is great. Stops the hay from going all over the fleece and you can just wash it in the machine. If your pigs move their hay boxes you could always have boxes like mine. They are storage boxes with an entrance and they are clipped together with bulldog clips so they are way too heavy for the pigs to move. Plus the sides are nice and high so less spillage :))
