Piggies jumping in the air as if having a fit but not running just staying in the same place... both Fred and Marvin were doing it at the same time! :o Whats this mean, any ideas?
You have some very happy piggies there - they are popcorning - which is a lovely thing to watch - they do this when they are content - its a great sight.
I suspected as much, but thought I'd ask to make sure I need pictures of there new set up they now have access to a run but unfortunately they seem to prefer the cage, I've moved there food dishes out to encourage them to come out play do you think this ok?! Unfotunately at present they don't have many toys cause Fred is far too dominant and toys = squabbles mallethead.. I'll need to brave it and see how my babies go... but me wuvs them!
My 2 love to popcorn, it's fascinating to watch! At times I worry that they are going to hurt themselves, they are jumping and zooming around so fast! The other day when Lily was in her run she threw herself at the closed door of her cage, just took off and smacked into it, I was so shocked, before I had chance to do anything she did it again! I had to open the door to stop her from hurting herself! Is this normal?
Ahhhh - now i've had my piggies for 3 weeks now and the last week they have been hopping around the cage and running round and round through the tunnels. Pop corning LOL!
I was a little worried when my mocha did this the first time. The first time she ever did this was when I put fleece in her cage and brought moo home. At first I thought maybe cause she had long hair that the fleece was shocking her and making her jump haha. But I had heard people say popcorn on the forum so I went to check on youtube what it was like and voila that was what she was doing.
It reminds me of when my horses were happy when I was young and they would gallop around the field bucking and rearing and just generally being silly. Thats exactly what it is like ;D
