They are squaring up to each other quite a lot, and Oscar has a cut to his ear which I'm not worried about. Oscar is staying upstairs in the C and C cage and when he comes down Frank then squares up to him. I've only had them week and half. Any help? but they have been in rescue and been together ages they are 7 months old

At the moment, make sure Oscar has all he needs upstairs. I hope that they can get through this tricky stage without a full-out fight!

Please contact your rescue. It can occasionally happen that young boars have a fall-out in new territory. your boys are at a very difficult age when this is most likely to happen.

@Wiebke Could they be trying to reassert who is the dominant male now that they have been put into a new territory?

@Barnsie123 I know when I brought my two girls home (they were supposedly mother and daughter), they were in the same cage, but with a divider. When I lifted the space between them, I had a flying fur ball! I was so terrified at what I had done, I thought that one of them was seriously hurt. It turns out they were just getting their places figured out. Now, keep in mind my dominant sow rumblestruts to her submissive, but that is normal as far as I know.

Keep a close eye on the two, inspect them (when you can) for cuts and new nicks. If this continues, you may have to reintroduce them. (That's right, isn't it, Wiebke?)

I wish you the best of luck!

I have put them both on one level and they seem to be working out the hierarchy, its all noise and no trousers!
